Three or More Tuesday-Scissors!

Time for Three or More Tuesday!
Go and see Tam over at The Gypsy's Corner
for more Three or More posts.
When I was visiting Kaaren at The Painted Quilt
I got a idea for a Three or More post.
Scissors!
Then she also had mentioned
Ranette's blog over at Ranette's Daily Stitch
and I knew I had to do a post on scissors.
I did not even realize how many I had until
I started hunting them down for a picture.
Here they are!
At least all the ones I could fine!
That is 23 pairs there!
I was actually surprised at how many I had.
The second pair from the left I featured on Vintage Thingies Thursday
last week. That is my oldest pair.
Then next to it on the right is my newest pair.
I just bought those recently at Joann's.
The black ones on the right I use by my sewing machine
all the time to snip the threads.
The pair on the far left I forgot I had
and realized they are perfect for embroidery also.
The orange handle ones are Friskars and I have had them a long time.
The black handle ones are pinking shears.
Next to that is a pair of applique scissors.
I use those a lot when making narrow hems.
I trim the fabric close to the stitching before doing the final heming.
The large silver ones are Singer brand scissors.
I forget how I got those.
These were freebie scissors.
The black ones and the white ones were
freebies from House of Fabrics.
Do you remember House of Fabrics before it became Joann's Fabrics?
The white ones even have the House of Fabrics logo on them!
The brown handled ones were also freebies.
I think from Fingerhut.
The blue ones belong to B-Daddy.
I had to sneak them out for the picture.
The purples ones are Friskars.
These pink ones are from Hancock's Fabrics and they
are Mundial scissors. They are a recent addition.
I featured them once on a Pink Saturday.
So there you have it.
My Three or More Scissors collection.
I just realized I have more scissors.
All the decorative edge ones I use
for scrapbooking.
Oh well, I guess I will save those for another post.
Happy Three or More Tuesday!
