REDnesday Wins!

It is still REDnesday! Best get busy and write this post.
Sue at It's A Very Cherry World! is our lovely host.
I had won a couple of giveaways recently!
This one came before Thanksgiving and I am finally posting about it.
The beautiful handmade card is from Terry over at
The link takes you to the post where she announces the winner!
The Michaels giftcard was the included with the card!

I used the card just before Christmas and this is a picture of the
things I bought. The giftcard helped to cover a good portion of it.
The cardstock paper includes RED paper. I enjoyed getting
more stamps for my collection too.

Then in December I won another give away from
Selina Quilts. She does a tutorial on her rice bags HERE.

And HERE is the link to her post about the winner of her giveaway.
ME!
The fabrics are wonderfully soft. And RED.
This fabric is the one she uses in her tutorial.
The white fabric is to use for the rice bags themselves and
then the pretty fabric is used for the sleeves.
She included a note, a set of cards on how to use the rice bags,
and a charm pack for fun.
Then there is the rice bag she included in a manly sleeve.
See how the rice bag is inside the sleeve. That way the sleeve
can be washed.
Now I can make some rice bags for gifts!

Thank you to Terry and Selina for drawing my name!

Happy REDnesday!

Pink Saturday #22 and I Won a Give Away!!

Another Pink Saturday has arrived! Thank you to Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for hosting this wonderful day of pinks for all of us. I am a little late getting this post up because I have been so tired after work the last couple of days. And now I am scrambling to get this up before going to work today.

Ok here goes.

I bought this fabric hoping to get these placemats and tablerunner done in time for

Valentine's Day.

Did it happen?

Nope.

Story of my life it seems.

But as my husband said,

we have them for next year.

The placemats are finished. But the tablerunner isn't yet.

I just have the long edges folded under at the moment.

It will have a ribbon trim just like the placemats do.

That angel was given to me by my new secret pal at church for Valentine's Day.

We did the reveal at a women's event at church in January.

And then we draw new names for this year.

I drew a name I never had before.

What fun!

Here is a closeup of the tablerunner fabric.

Today after work I want to try to find fabric for placemats for

St. Patrick's Day, Easter, and Spring.

Now the give away I won!

Mo of Mo's Cottage had this wonderful give away

and I won her pillow.

Here is how it looked when I open the box.

Pink Paper!

This is what was under the PINK paper!

This precious pillow and a surprise extra there.

See the pinks in the pillow?

I think this will go in my living room.

And the extra thing?

A pack of notecards that were designed and painted by a friend of Mo's.

Here are the notecards.

Too pretty to use.

But I will use them. Since that is what they are for, right?

Thank you so much Mo for the goodies.

It was a blast to win something.

Yay!!

Hope you all are having a wonderful Pink Saturday!
