Project-Procrastinator's Unite.

I happen to be visiting Tam over at The Gypsy's Corner and discovered
she was participating in a Project-Procrastinator's Unite.
She had read about it on Melissa's blog at The Inspired Room.
Now I have never visited Melissa before. So I am again meeting a new blogger.
Not a new blogger, but new to me anyway.
So this means maybe I can finish a project that is very long overdue.
This is the messy closet in the sewing area that needs to be cleaned out and organized.
However, that is not the project I had in mind.
This one would take too long to work for Melissa's challenge.
But if you look carefully, you can see a roll of yellow fabric in there.
It is wrapped in plastic to keep it clean.
I am embarrassed to say that I have had that fabric
since September of 2004.
Egads!! Has it been that long?
I got it for our 25th wedding anniversary to recover a chair.
The 25th anniversary was in 2004, so that must have been
how long I have had this fabric.
Very bad procrastinating!!!!!
I definitely should be embarrassed.
Shame, shame shame.
So this Project Procrastinator's Unite
is the perfect time to spur me into finishing the project.
Finally!
This is the chair the fabric is supposed to cover.
What is that you say?
Oh, you are trying to see what is underneath that pink
blanket.
Ok, I guess I can pull off the blanket and show you.
A wingback chair with this ugly print that is so not me.
This chair used to belong to my godparents.
It is a very good chair with good bones.
I am sure it was very nice when it was new.
But now the fabric is getting faded and worn in places.
I found a pattern to use.
I have the fabric to recover it.
So why is it not done?
Who knows!
I try to keep it covered up most of the time.
I am sure it would look so much better
after I get it recovered.
In the meantime I try to add a bit of charm with the pillow
I won in a give away at Mo's Cottage.

Oh, here is a close up of the pillow.
I better get busy on this project.
I have to share finished or almost finished pictures on May 14th.
This is a two week challenge for fellow bloggers to
finish things they are not getting done.
So let's get it done girls!

Good for you on getting it done soon!! I have a project that I need to pull out again and finish. It's all the quilt pieces that I shared in my blog. Maybe after my son's wedding.....life seems to be on hold until then. Cindy
