Blue Monday Craft Needs

Monday always comes too fast for me. I sometimes wish the
weekend would slow down some so I can get more done!
Anyway, I want to thank Sally at Smiling Sally for hosting
Blue Monday for us every week.
You can visit her and see who else is posting for
Blue Monday.
~~~~~~
First I want to mention that is has been hard for me
to get around to everyone lately. I try to visit as many as I can
but sometimes I can only visit a few each day.
I have a difficult time sitting at the computer for very long
these days. My legs start to ache and cramp up, and
when that happens I can not still at the computer.
I need to go and lie down, or stretch out on the recliner
to relieve the pain and discomfort.
Unfortunately, I don't have a laptop.
If I did, and we had wireless in the house,
then I could blog while sitting in the recliner!
Maybe one of these days......
Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know in case
anyone is wondering why I don't seem to be visiting as much.
~~~~~~
Now on to BLUE Monday!
I went to JoAnn's Fabrics again
one day last week.
Boy was I surprised at the changes!!
They are in the middle of remodeling and rearranging.
It took me awhile to figure out what was where!
Here are some of the things I got and there is some
BLUE.
You can't see them here, but the card pack has pale blue
in there. What you see is the pink and the green.
One of the DMC floss skeins is a shade of BLUE.
The zipper is BLUE.
The label on the aida cloth is BLUE.
And there is actually a very dark BLUE in the iron-on patches.
The black rectangle is a stamp pad.
Look at the stamp I found!
I will use on the back of the cards I make.

These adhesive gems will be used on cards too.
Some of them are BLUE!

Scrapbook paper to use for cards.
The striped one at the top as BLUE in it.
~~~
And......
look what I found on clearance!
A Debbie Mumm mug.
I love the BLUE in this!
This was the last one.
I had admired them before
so I was happy to see it on clearance.
Snapped it up before anyone else could.
And it holds a very large cup of coffee,
or anything else I might want to drink.
~~~~~
Happy Blue Monday!!
~Linnea~
Update: Sally had asked it the pain was due to peripheral neuropathy.
Interestingly I just had a test for that done last Thursday.
I don't have peripheral neuropathy!
So far they are thinking the numbness in my feet may
be due to arthritis in my toes.
And the leg pain may be from sciatica.
Not definite yet, but those are possibilities.

The stamp is a find :-) I always believe every craft made - or anything handmade for that matter is a labor of love. So the stamp is quite fitting. So's you mug too :-)

Happy Blue Monday!

Your leg pain sounds like mine. I have peripheral neuropathy. Perhaps you do too.

Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.

THe mug is adorable.

I could spend so much time and money in these stores. I love to buy paper and access.

Hope your legs give you a break soon.

I find it hard, if not impossible to get all the way around because there are so many participants. Sometimes I start in the middle or at the end just to see some that I otherwise wouldn't get to.

Blessings on your day.

Hi Linnea
I like all the crafts stuff in blue. Don't you just love Joann's? I also like that stamp you bought! I sure hope they find out what is wrong with you soon. And I hope you get a laptop soon and wireless connection. It is so wonderful. Computer access from any place in the house....

Linnea, I am sorry to hear about your pain. How hard it is to keep going when one is in pain. I hope it improves soon. My prayers are going up now for your improved health.

I love what you found at the fabric store. The stamp will be a cute addition to your card making. I love that fabric store and where I live there isn't one. sigh.

I have been gone this whole summer and just returned home a week ago. I will visit again soon and please do not worry about responding. Just get well.

Hugs...Jeanne

UGH feet and leg pain - I have had enough of that in my lifetime. I hope you get some relief and SOON!!

I think a post about your vintage music sheets would be fun! My hubby has sheet music to some of the popular songs of that time too. He needs to play them as well!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and your many comments! I don't know why it doesn't email you anymore. I checked and you're still on the list. A few months back someone else told me that it wasn't emailing them but then it started emailing them later. Silly blogger, keeps me crazy. I'd love to be public again but since I post about Savannah and my family I need to stay private. Also, when you print out your posts make sure you highlight the post that you want to print or it will start to print the whole blog!! I learned this the hard way. Luckily I hadn't walked away! Also by printing a single post at a time it keeps it starting on one piece of paper instead of all over the place, that way I can keep the binder I put them in in chronological order! Good luck. I need to catch up a bit with you too but right now I'm off to help Nicholas. :) Cindy
